Ralph D. Day

Ralph D. Day, 43, of 111 Arndt Street, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at his residence. He was born April 23, 1966, in Fond du Lac, the son of Raymond and Grace Summers Day. On September 29, 1989, he married Angela Kapp in Fond du Lac. Ralph was employed by Mercury Marine as a truck driver for 12 years, and later by Mid States Express until his retirement due to ill health. Surviving is his wife, Angela, a son, Dylan, and a daughter, Cassandra, both at home, his mother, Grace Day of Fond du Lac, a sister, Julie (Bob) Willey of Fond du Lac, his mother and father-in-law, DuWayne and Sue Kapp of Fond du Lac a sister-in-law, Debbie Kapp, also of Fond du Lac, and four nephews. His father, a brother-in-law, Steve Kapp, and an aunt, Kathy Bender, and several nieces, nephews and relatives preceded him in death.



Visitation for Ralph D. Day will be on Saturday, January 16, 2010, from 1 to 3 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 3 pm at the funeral home on Saturday. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate and cremation will follow traditional services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed for Ralph's children.
