Raymond B. Daniels

Raymond B. Daniels, 89, formerly of Lakeshore Drive, Fond du Lac and a current resident of Touchstone Living Center, North Fond du Lac, died Friday, May 15, 2009. He was born the son of Benjamin and Leona Gabriel Daniels in North Fond du Lac on July 25, 1919. He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Raymond graduated in 1937 from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac and shortly after moved to his grandfather's farm and began farming. He worked hard and was very proud of the farm and his crops. In the 1950's and 60's he also operated his father's tavern, Daniel's Lakeshore Tavern on Lakeshore Drive. He enjoyed sports and participated in bowling leagues in Van Dyne and Fond du Lac, as well as being an avid Packer and Brewer Fan.SURVIVORS: include one niece, Karen (James) Michels Tills, Madison; a cousin, Mary Daniels, Waupun. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Margaret Michels.



VISITATION: will be from 4:30 "“ 7:30 PM on Monday, May 18, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Tuesday from 10 "“ 11 AM at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Morning officiating. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Touchstone Living Center for their kind and compassionate care given to Raymond.
