RAYMOND F. BARTARaymond F. Barta, age 74 formerly of Oakfield and of 524 Water Street, Chilton, died Saturday at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton. He was born on April 21,1931 in Mishicot the son of Frank and Anna Hanek Barta.On September 30,1950 he married Betty Lila Gerner at Holy Trinity Church, Jericho. After his marriage he resided in Kewaunee where he worked for Dworak Motors and drove school bus. In 1968 they moved to Oakfield where he was employed with Mercury Marine retiring after 23 years. After retirement he moved to the Wausaukee area in 1990 and later to Chilton. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at his cabin up north. He enjoyed helping people and for the past three years he enjoyed visiting with people and riding on his scooter around town.SURVIVORS: wife, Betty Lila (Gerner) Barta, Chilton, five children, Daniel (Luana) Barta, Fond du Lac, David (Sharon) Barta, Rosendale, Donald (Darlene) Barta, Chilton, Donna (Rick) Kloehn, New Holstein, Debra (David) Resler, Sturgeon Bay, twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three sisters, Eleanor (George) Demell, Whitelaw, Helen (Gerald) Berg, Kewaunee, Delores (Zimmie) Zimmerhakel, Mischicot. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna Barta, and his step-father, Anton Dobek
VISITATION: The family will receive friends from on Sunday, May 15,2005 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial Services will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The Very Reverend Ted McConnell will officiate. Cremation has taken place inurnment will be in Tisch Mills."The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Tipler, Affinity Clinic Staff, Calumet Medical Center, Emergency Staff and all the nurses that gave exceptional care for Raymond Barta."Uecker-Witt Funeral Home Is In Charge Of Arrangements.
