Raymond J. Grignon

Raymond J. Grignon, 69, of North Fond du Lac, died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at Manor Care Nursing Home, where he had been a resident for a short period of time. He was born March 15, 1937, in Keshena, WI, the son of Raymond A. and Josephine Nahwahquaw Grignon. On July 22, 1967, he married Betty Hatas at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in West Allis. Mr. Grignon was a member of Holy Family Parish. He was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1960 to 1962 with the 4th Infantry Division. Mr. Grignon was employed by several Wisconsin manufacturing companies as an industrial engineer for over 20 years, retiring in 1999. After his retirement, he drove van for Senior Services. Surviving is his wife, Betty, four brothers, Cecil Grignon of Milwaukee, Robert Grignon of Keshena, Dennis (Linda) Grignon of Green Bay, and David (Donna) Grignon of Keshena, and two sisters, Myrna (Jim) Winter of Shawano and Mary Grignon of Keshena. Nieces, nephews, cousins, his wife's family, other relatives and many good friends further survive him. His parents, an older brother, Wilfred, and a sister-in-law, Jeanette Grignon, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Raymond J. Grignon will be on Friday, July 7, 2006, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Liturgy of the Word Services will be at 5:00 PM on Friday at the Shrine. The Rev. Patrick Heppe of Holy Family Parish will officiate and inurnment will follow. Cremation has taken place. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family. A memorial has been established in Mr. Grignon's name. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com
