Raymond P. Shaver

Raymond P. Shaver, 71, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born May 23, 1939 in Pebbles, the son of Orvey R. and Florence V. Robbins Shaver. On July 7, 1961 he married Patricia A. Shuppe in Fond du Lac. Raymond was a veteran of US Marines serving from 1957 "“ 1960. He worked for International Paper Company for 38 years retiring in June of 1999. He was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church and was a former usher. Raymond enjoyed traveling the United States with his wife, the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers and bowling. He loved baseball and was an umpire in North Fond du Lac for girls softball for many years. Raymond was very proud of his family and loved spending time with them.SURVIVORS: his wife, Patricia; one son, Michael Shaver, Fond du Lac; one daughter, Lori (Shawn) Roeseler, Fond du Lac; one grandson, Justin. He is further survived by one brother, Wally Shaver, Taycheedah; two sisters-in-law, Janet (Roger) Wagner, Fond du Lac, Jeanne (Don) Ledden, Eldorado; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law, Jacob and Laverna Shuppe; one son, Mark; two sisters, Belle and Vivian; one sister-in-law, Janet.



VISITATION: will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 from 9 "“ 11 AM at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 21, 2011 at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Joel Gaertner officiating. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.Memorial are appreciated to Faith Ev.
