Raymond R. "Ray" Mueller

Raymond "Ray" R. Mueller, 92, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 6, 1920 in Fond du Lac, the son of Louis and Ella McKnight Mueller. He was a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School. Ray was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in army air corps during World War II and the Korean War in the 101st Infantry Red Arrow Division and activated during the Cuban Crisis. In May of 1964 he married Gloria Snow Bickelhaupt and she preceded him in death in February of 1995. Ray worked for the City of Fond du Lac Maintenance Department. He was a HAM radio operator, amateur photographer, and enjoyed current events. Ray was a very loyal dog owner and his favorite dog was Blackie.He is survived by four children, Gottlieb "Joe" (Joan) Bickelhaupt, Oshkosh, Judith Ann Bickelhaupt, Fond du Lac, Jeffrey (Paula) Bickelhaupt, Belgium, WI, Jerrold (Marilyn) Bickelhaupt, Fond du Lac; ten grandchildren; many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step father, Elmer McNaughton; his wife; one son, James Bickelhaupt in 1992.



VISITATION: The visitation will be from 1 "“ 3 PM on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: The funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Paul Monzel officiating. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Trier Puddy American Legion Post # 75 will conduct military graveside services.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
