Raymond W. Arnold, 67, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, April 20, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 22, 1947 in Milwaukee, the son of Eugene and Elizabeth Wolf Arnold. On August 3, 1984 he married Christine J. Kowalski in Milwaukee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from September of 1964 until September of 1967. He was a member of Paralyzed Veterans of America. Raymond drove truck for Sadoff Iron and Metal for many years until 1986 after being diagnosed with MS. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching TV, and loved chocolate.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Arnold; one daughter, Tracy (Alan) Brown of Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Sara (Dennis) Schwenn of Oshkosh, Marc Brown and Terence Brown both of Fond du Lac; one great grandchild, Orin Brown; five siblings, Margie Matzki of Hancock, Barbara Hynnek of Wauwatosa, Larry (Laurel) Arnold of Waterford, Robert Arnold of Phoenix, AZ, and James Arnold Sr. of Juneau; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Rosenberg officiating. Cremation has taken place.
