Richard A. "Little Pollock" Streholski

Richard Anthony “Little Pollock” Streholski, age 74, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on November 16, 1941 in Fond du Lac, the son of Edward and Eleanor (Barclay) Streholski. Dick served in the United States Marines. On February 4, 1961 he married Dorothy Rose “Dotty” Kawleski at St. Mary’s Church in Fond du Lac. Dick worked for forty-three years as a switchman and foreman for Chicago Northwestern Railroad retiring in 2003. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being up at the family cabin in Rhinelander, taking family vacations to places like Las Vegas, Spain, Italy, Alaska, the Carribbean, and Hawaii. He also enjoyed spending time with his favorite pet, his Doberman Shania.



SURVIVORS: his wife, Dotty of Fond du Lac; three children, Alan (Sharon Montano) of New Mexico, Christine (Timothy) Tank of Oshkosh, James Edward (Susan) Streholski of Rosendale; one granddaughter, Crystal Streholski of Pipe; one brother, Ronald (Barbara) Streholski of Fond du Lac; one sister, Joan (Robert) Albrecht of Oregon, IL; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Elaine Ballwanz; mother in law, Rose Kawleski; one uncle, Walter Drewa.



Visitation will take place on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 12 noon to 2:30 P.M. at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6250 County Road K, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Funeral will follow the visitation at 2:30 at the Mausoleum. Entombment will follow. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 will conduct military graveside honors.
