Richard A. Pedersen Richard Alden Pedersen, 38, was taken suddenly from this life to his eternal home in Heaven on September 25, 2004, as a result of an auto accident in Wisconsin Rapids. He was born on November 24, 1965, in Wisconsin Rapids, a son of Alden B. and Judy Nichols Pedersen, He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith. Rick was a loving husband and married Linda Kannenberg on May 3, 1996 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hartford, WI. His highest priority and love was for his Lord Jesus and his family. He always wanted to tell others of Jesus and the confidence we have in Him that we will share eternal life with Him, because He died for our sins. He was blessed with three loving children, Elizabeth Puffer, Erika Lynn, and JonAlden Delmer. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1984. He received his paramedic training at Davenport College in Michigan and his fire-fighting training at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton. He served 15 years in the Army National Guard. He served as a paramedic/firefighter in the City of Fond du Lac and previously in Crawfordsville, IN. Rick was an assistant wrestling coach at Winnebago Lutheran Academy. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife and his children, his parents, Alden and Judy Pedersen of Wisconsin Rapids, his father and mother-in-law, Delmer and Barbara Kannenberg of Hartford, WI, his brother, Chris Hans Pedersen of Fond du Lac, three sisters, Julie (David) Gilman of Edmond, OK, Vickie (Tim) Boller of Marshfield, WI, and Lisa (Tim) Pulte of West Bend, WI, three sisters-in-law, Sharon (Bill) Moldenhauer of Hartford, WI, Lori Kannenberg of Middleton, WI, and Diane (John) Calkins of Fond du Lac, and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. His Maternal Grandmother, Marie Nichols, and Paternal Grandparents, Hans and Hilda Pedersen preceded him in death.
Visitation for Mr. Richard Alden Pedersen will be on Monday, September 27, 2004, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, from 10 to 11 am at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Haugly will officiate and burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery.
