Richard D. Desmet

Richard D. DeSmet Richard D. DeSmet, 47, formerly of 105 E. Melvin St. in Oshkosh died Thursday, January 13, 2005 at Oshkosh Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Richard was born February 1, 1957 in Fond du Lac, a son of Roland and Hildegard Bein Smet. Richard owned and operated the Three Fingers Pub in Oshkosh for many years. He also worked for Aqua Pure in Florida. Survivors include three children; Erin (Adam) McInturff of Virginia, Roland DeSmet of Oshkosh, Lindsay DeSmet of Oshkosh, three grandchildren; Abigael and Allison McInturff and Madysen DeSmet, four brothers; James (Sandra) Smet of Fond du Lac, Eugene (Marilyn) Smet of Fond du Lac, Michael (Linda) Smet of St. Peter, Joseph (Joan) Smet of Fond du Lac, and three sisters; Joan Marcelja of Las Vegas, NV, Mary Ann ( Neal) Salter of Fond du Lac, and Dr. Casey Smet of Port Barrington, IL. Richard was preceded in death by his parents.



Visitation for Mr. DeSmet will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2005 from 3-4 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. Memorials in Richard's name may be directed to the family.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
