Richard E. Flitcroft, 53, of 121 5th Street, died Thursday, January 5, 2012, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born December 7, 1958, in Fond du Lac, the son of Joseph and Marjorie Deitte Flitcroft. He was a 1977 graduate of L. P. Goodrich High School and later attended and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Minneapolis. Richard was also employed as a commercial painter in the Milwaukee area. Surviving are his father, Joseph, of Fond du Lac, two brothers, Charles A. (Special Friend Bonnie) Flitcroft of Fond du Lac, and Michael J. (Vicky) Flitcroft of Rockford, IA, a sister, Christine M. McGrath of Park Falls, WI, six nieces and nephews, Candace (Kevin) Koenigs, Stephanie Flitcroft, Chas ( Fiancé' Lynn) Flitcroft, Shawn Flitcroft, Tracy (Chad) McDonough, and Philip (Kathleen) McGrath, and 10 great-nieces and nephews, Taylor, Kennedy, and Reagan Koenigs, Nicholas and Katelyn Flitcroft, Logan, Kelsey and Brody McDonough, and Ridley and Ellie Abbie Flitcroft. He is further survived by a special friend, Michelle James of Fond du Lac. His mother and a cousin, Todd Deitte, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Richard E. Flitcroft will be on Monday, January 9, 2012, from 9 to 11 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM at the church on Monday. Cremation has taken place and inurnment of cremated remains will be at a later date in St. Charles Cemetery.
