Richard H. Sorgel

Richard H. Sorgel, 47, of 1100 Fourth Street, died Saturday, April 8, 2006, at his residence. He was born March 29, 1959, in Oak Park, IL, the son of Richard H. and Audrey Ann Berends Sorgel. On April 5, 1986, he married Jeanne Thompson in Prairie du Chien. For many years, he was employed by Giddings & Lewis as an electrical test engineer. Surviving is a daughter, Jennifer, a son, Robert, and his former wife, Jeanne all of Fond du Lac. He is further survived by his parents of Crest Hill, IL, a brother, Phillip (Renee) Sorgel of Southlake, TX, a sister, Christene (John) Wojdyla of Plainfield, IL, three nieces, Alyssa, Katie, and Niki, and a nephew, Zach.



Visitation for Mr. Richard H. Sorgel will be on Thursday, April 13, 2006, from 12 noon to 3:30 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word Services will be at 3:30 pm at the funeral home on Thursday. The Rev. Patrick Heppe of Holy Family Parish will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
