Richard H. Wastrack

Richard H. Wastrack, 50, of 1421 W. Edgerton Avenue, Milwaukee, died of cancer on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at the Hospice Home of Hope. Born April 2, 1961, in Fond du Lac, he was the son of George and Norma Hintz Wastrack. A 1979 graduate of Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac, Richard subsequently received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his Masters Degree in Computer Science from Cardinal Strich College in Milwaukee. He was currently teaching multi-media at the Audubon School of Technology and Communications in Milwaukee and was also employed part-time by the Milwaukee Boys and Girls Club. Previously Richard had been a director or co-director of several drum and bugle corps in Madison and Milwaukee. An avid amateur photographer, Richard also enjoyed golfing, travel, was an enthusiastic sports fan. Richard especially followed the Packers, the Brewers, and the Badgers. He is survived by two brothers, Kenneth (Barbara) Wastrack of Muscle Shoals, AL, and Harry (Jean) Wastrack of Sterling, VA, his mother, Norma, of North Fond du Lac, a brother-in-law, Jeff (Patricia) Colp of Arkansas, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. His father and a sister, Linda Colp, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Richard H. Wastrack will be on Saturday, November 5, 2011, from 9 to 11 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 11 AM at the funeral home on Saturday. Father Paul Dudzinski, a cousin of Richard's, will officiate. The inurnment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com.
