Richard H. ZieglerRichard H. Ziegler, 61, of 120 W. Division Street, died Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born December 19, 1942, in Fond du Lac, a son of Benjamin and Bridget Pitzen Ziegler. He was a member of Holy Family parish-St. Louis Church. Mr. Ziegler was formerly employed by Rueping Leather Company and Eckert Sanitation. A veteran of the US Army from 1961 to 1967, he served with National Guard at Ft. Lewis during the Berlin Crisis. He was a member of Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75.Surviving is his mother, Bridget "Betty" (Merle) Hass of Chilton, three brothers, Leonard (Bernice) Ziegler, Robert Ziegler, and Daniel Ziegler all of Fond du Lac, and two sisters, Patricia (Harold) Abitz of Neshkoro, and Delores (Bill) Miller of Rosendale. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. His father and a brother, Eugene, preceded him in death.
Visitation for Mr. Richard H. Ziegler will be on Thursday, September 30, 2004, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 1, 2004, at 10 am from Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Louis Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
