Richard J. Cupertino

Richard J. "Coop" Cupertino, 69, of 820 Minnesota Avenue, North Fond du Lac, died at his residence on Monday, May 8, 2006. He was born November 23, 1936, in Wauwatosa, the son of Daniel and Mary (Loffredo) Cupertino. On June 10, 1972, he married Joyce Arenz in Waukegan, IL. Mr. Cupertino owned and operated Gas Stations in Fond du Lac, North Fond du Lac and Milwaukee, WI. for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He also touched the lives of many children by coaching sports in the Milwaukee, Fond du Lac, and North Fond du Lac area for 30 years. Surviving is his wife, Joyce, two sons, Richie Cupertino of North Fond du Lac, and Tony (Sue) Cupertino of Fond du Lac, grandchildren, Mitch, Tyler, Stephanie, Whitney, Tori, Vinnie, Shane and many nieces and nephews. Further surviving is a brother, Charlie (Joyce) Cupertino of Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, Daniel, Anthony, Paul, Eugene, Tommy, John, and Leonard, and a sister, Anita.



Visitation for Mr. Richard J. Cupertino will be on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, from 5 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Thursday, May 11, 2006, from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home. Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Thursday at the funeral home. Deacon Paul Monzel will officiate.
