Richard Lee Rauls, 79, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center in Fond du Lac. He was born in Fond du Lac, a son of Andrew and Lorena Rauls. He attended St. Peter's grade school, graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy and then served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1954 to 1957. On September 14, 1957 Richard married Joan Randall, and they had 6 children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, bowling and camping with family. He very much enjoyed having fun with family and friends. He was employed with Kiefner Aluminum Siding and Door, Rueping Leather Company, and he retired after 30 years from Mercury Marine. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac, WI.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Joan of Fond du Lac; daughter, Andrea (Ron) Van Beek of Gastonia, NC; son, Tim (Mona) Rauls of Fond du Lac; daughter, Danielle (Joel) Miller of Aurora, IL; daughter-in-law, Shirley Rauls of Fond du Lac; Felicia (Tim) Ryan of Nassau, Bahamas; Nicole (Michael) Boeschen of Sedalia, MO. He had fifteen grandchildren: Matthew, Eric, Christy, Dylan, Mindi, Stephanie, Zachary, Michael, Jennifer, Dustin, Karissa, Wooshalno, Richelle, McKenzie and Ashlei; fourteen great grandchildren: Veronica, Charlotte, Mallory, Emrick, Ethan, Ella, Aubrey, Coraline, Mason, Kaelyn, Ava, Kylie, Harmon, Vivienne; three siblings: Tom (Mary) Rauls of AZ, Carol Kemnitz of Fond du Lac, and Paul Rauls of AZ; one sister in law, Sue (Walter) Kutz of Brandon; Richard was survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Rauls; parents, Andrew and Lorena Rauls; In-law's, Wallace and Vallee Randall; brother and sister-in-law Jim and Janice Randall.
VISITATION: Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. FUNERAL: Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. At Redeemer Lutheran Church, 606 Forest Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Visitation will take place on Thursday at the church from 10:00 A.M until the time of service. Cremation will follow the service.
