Richard A. Seal

Richard A. Seal, 86, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at his residence.  He was born July 2, 1937 in Lawrence, MA, the son of George and Mildred Chadwick Seal.   Richard grew up in Massachusetts and after graduation he attended Yale and Harvard Business College.  On June 13, 1993 he married Judith A. Selk.   Richard was a restaurateur and businessman.  He enjoyed traveling and was an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for fly fishing and hiking.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Selk Seal; four children, Tracee (Chris) Chelios, Brian (Beth) Smith, Lesley (Peter) Manowske, and Susie (Alfred) Cerbin; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Judy Seal; and his faithful dog, Faith.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie Seal; and his dog, Gretel.

At Richard’s request, there will be no visitation or services.
