Richard W. "Dick" Marten

RICHARD W. "DICK MARTENRichard W. "Dick" Marten, age 77 of 541 Monmouth Street, died Friday, September 17,2004 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on July 12,1927 in the Town of Lomira the son of Erwin and Adeline Marose Marten. On November 11,1950 he married Geraldine N. Voss at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mayville. Richard worked at Giddings & Lewis retiring in 1992. He was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church and was a past member of the Master Gardner's. Richard was a golfer and a avid baseball and Green Bay Packer fan.SURVIVORS: wife, Geraldine N. Marten, Fond du Lac, a daughter, Candice K. Marten, Fond du Lac, one sister-in-law, Bernice Marten of Iowa. Further survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Mark and a brother, Herman.



VISISTATION: Tuesday, September 21, 2004 from 10:00 A. M. to 12:00 Noon at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. FUNERAL: Services will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Douglas V. Hedman and Intern Pastor Natacha Kemp officiating. Burial will follow at St. Luke's Cemetery, Knowles.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
