Ricky L. Holzman Sr, age 71, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, September 23, 2022, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on July 17, 1951, in Fond du Lac, the son of Herbert and Marion (Enright) Holzman. On April 29, 1972, Ricky married Suzanne Barnes in Fond du Lac. Ricky worked at Park Cheese/BelGioioso for thirty-five years. He loved camping, fishing, shooting pool, dancing, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include the love of his life, his wife, Suzanne; his children, Sarah (fiancé David Harms) Koenigs, Rickey Holzman Jr, James Holzman; eight grandchildren, Josie Koenigs, Marion (Henry) Koenigs, Ashley (Eric) Boeck, Autumn Hunter, Andrew (Katelyn Kern) Hunter, Trevor (fiancé Tiffany Testolin) Holzman, Tanner (Faith Schmitz) Holzman, and Tyler (Sam) Hamburgur; ten great-grandchildren, his siblings, Kathleen (Robert) Stahmann, Susan (Daniel) Senz, Frank (Sandy) Holzman, Herbert “Bud” Holzman, Donna Moscinski; sisters-in-law, Bernice (Jeff) Duranceau, and Lori Holzman; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Marion; his stepmother, Elizabeth Lange; his siblings, Terry (Sharon Olson), Daniel, Henry; in-laws, MaryAnn (Dan) Steiner, Eleanor (Tom) Hoover, Dale Schultz; one grandson Matthew Koenigs; one son-in-law, Jeffrey Koenigs.
A Celebration of Ricky’s Life will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 12 noon at Ricky’s niece Amy’s house at 410 N. Brooke Street in Fond du Lac. Cremation has taken place.
