Rita C. Theisen

Rita C. Theisen was taken to her heavenly home on July 2, 2008 where she was surrounded by her family and loved ones at her home in Johnsburg. Rita was born on September 14, 1935 to Raymond and Bertha Montag of St. Lawrence. On September 10, 1955 she married David R. Theisen who preceded her in death on June 8, 1980. She was a homemaker and worked part-time at Milt's Restaurant. Rita was known as "Ma" by all throughout her many years of involvement with the Marquis Drum & Bugle Corps. She very much enjoyed her plants, flowers and garden. SURVIVORS: her children, Laura Theisen, Keith (Sandy) Theisen, Lynn (Greg) Zills, all of Fond du Lac, Jeff (Kim) Theisen of Cedarburg, Scott (Kathy) Theisen, Neal (Shelly) Theisen, both of Fond du Lac, Ellen (David) Boll of Adell, Sandy (John) Vavra of Random Lake. Her grandchildren, Tim & Jason Theisen, Nicole & Eric Zills, Jennifer & Nicholas Theisen, Kristy Boughton, Zach & Hailey, and one great-grandchild, Zach Theisen. Rita is also survived by the loving man in her life for the past 23 years, Oscar Guelig and his children, Joann (Don) Feldner, Mike (Brenda) Guelig, Marie Pierquet, Rose (Joe) Lisowe, Bob (Stacy) Guelig, and all the grandchildren. Rita is also survived by her siblings, Pat Dueno, Marion (Chuck) Sage, Marge Les Monde, Tom (Marilyn) Montag, Kathy Persha, Ray (Kathy) Montag, Tony (Emme) Montag, Fritz (Mary) Montag, Lucy (Jim) Campbell, Hubie (Carol) Montag, Bill (Cindy) Montag, Joanie Richardson, Chris (John) Zommers, Suzie (Dan) Knutson; two sisters-in-law, Mary Theisen of Fond du Lac and Mary Theisen of Oconto Falls; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers-in-law and three nephews.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 8 PM on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 7, 2008 at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9 AM until the time of services.
