Rita M. Hilbert

Rita M. Hilbert, 79, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Milwaukee. She was born June 13, 1933 in Green Bay the daughter of Laurence and Agnes Segersin McFarland. On June 12, 1993 she married Robert L. Hilbert in Fond du Lac. Rita worked for Wells Manufacturing for 37 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of Church of Peace where she was an active volunteer and belonged to the Martha's Society. Rita enjoyed playing bingo, painting ceramics, quilting, needle point and crocheting.She is survived by her husband, Robert Hilbert; two daughters, Rebecca (Karl) Blount, North Fond du Lac and Sherry (Norman) Shipp, Chicago, IL; seven step children, Michael (Marlene) Hilbert, Fond du Lac, Patrick (Valerie) Hilbert, Fond du Lac, Susan (Tom) Ennis, Fond du Lac, Julie (Paul) Haase, North Fond du Lac, Kris (Jay) Nerenhausen, Oshkosh, Tracy (Pat) Ryan, Oakfield, Ryan Hilbert, Fond du Lac; ten grandchildren and eighteen step grandchildren; three great grandchildren and ten step great grandchildren; one sister, Pat (Walter) Barthuly of Kenosha; one brother, Jerry (Beth) Lardinois, Port Orange, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kevin Watts; one step daughter, Kathryn and one sister Ruth Foster.



VISITATION: The visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 4-8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of services. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Church of Peace. Reverend's James F. D. Martin and Jennifer C.M. Dawson will officiate.
