Robert Anthony Kobs

Robert A. Kobs, age 60, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at Nathan Adelson Hospice Care in Las Vegas, Nev. He arrived in this world on January 17, 1958 in Fond du Lac to John and Cecelia (Blattner) Kobs. Robert was a graduate of Goodrich High School and studied architecture and drafting for his post-secondary education.



Robert enjoyed spending his younger years with his brothers, John Peter (who preceded him in passing), David (Darlene), Timothy (Julie), and Tyler, as well as dear family friend Ken Nett and Ken’s two sons, Timothy and Tyler. He worked at Mid-States Aluminum for many years and enjoyed his time there. Robert welcomed two children into this world, Joseph in 1990 and Katherine in 1993. His brother Timothy (Julie), welcomed two nephews for Robert, Matthew in 1992 and Adam in 1994. In more recent years, he enjoyed spending time working on his collection of unique automobiles, enjoying time at the firearms range with his children, and gathering with the neighboring family of Doug and Judy Hoffman, his good friend Nancy Hoffman, and spending time in the community; especially at the American Legion Trier-Puddy Post #75.



He reunites with his beloved family members, including his cherished dogs, Lady and Shelby.

A visitation for family, friends, and all who knew Robert will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 27, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 4th Street Way in Fond du Lac. Visitation at the church will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial in Calvary Cemetery will follow the services.
