Robert C. "Bob" Herrenbruck

Robert C. "Bob" HerrenbruckRobert C. "Bob" Herrenbruck, 64, of Fond du Lac and formerly of St. Francis, WI, passed away in his home on Saturday, November 19, 2005. He was born on March 27, 1941, in Milwaukee, the son of Raymond and Ann Nuszbaum Herrenbruck. Bob was the best friend and loving husband to his wife Norlene, the dearest and most caring father to his daughter Wendi (Jason) Starke of Milwaukee and son Todd (Rachael) Herrenbruck of Fox Point, and a fun, playful grandfather to his three grandchildren, Benjamin, Martha, and Charlie Herrenbruck, and a step-granddaughter, Hannah Starke. On June 19th, 1965, he married the love of his life, Norlene (Giencke). Bob was a retired 30-year Teamster with 27 years at Roadway Express as a driver. He also served in the National Guard with the 32nd Red Arrow Division during the Berlin Crisis of 1961. He was an avid bicyclist, biking over 35,000 miles since 1993. Bob loved all nature and was kind to animals, especially one grand-dog named Chase. He was a member of the Church of Peace, where he was a past council member and usher.Bob is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and also by his dear mother-in-law, Aileen Browitt of Fond du Lac, four sisters-in-law, Annabel Herrenbruck of Cudahy, WI, Pat (Jerry) Straetz of Westfield, WI, Judy Schmidt of Fond du Lac, and Linda Giencke of Racine, WI. Nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends further survive him. His parents, a brother, William Herrenbruck, and a brother-in-law, Raymond Schmidt preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Robert C. "Bob" Herrenbruck will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2005, from 3:30 to 7:30 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. The Rev. Virginia Pych will officiate and Entombment will be Wednesday November 23, 2005 at 11:00 am at Forest Hill Memorial Park, 3301 E.
