Robert Dietz

ROBERT DIETZRobert Dietz, age 82 of 966 Primrose Lane, Fond du Lac passed away Monday evening at Hospice Home of Hope where he resided for 2 weeks. He was born August 30,1922 in Chicago, IL the son of Gustav and LouiseStark Dietz. On September 11,1945 he married Harriette A. Straus in Chicago, IL. The couple lived in Chicago until 1961 when they moved to Plymouth and then later to Fond du Lac in 1969. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army. Robert was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Plymouth. He was self-employed as a painter and decorator in Fond du Lac for many years.Survivors include his daughter Susan (Mark) Stringham, Fond du Lac, and one aunt Gertrude Weiller, Sarasota, Florida, he is further survived by several nephews and a niece. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son Ronald, and one sister Dorothy Weber.



There will be no visitation. Inurnment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Plymouth at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac."Bob was a loving husband, father, and friend.
