Robert G. Kind

Robert G. Kind, 67, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born April 20, 1950 in Fond du Lac, the son of Gerhardt and Farrell Rahll Kind. On April 18, 1970 he married Sharene L. Braatz in Fond du Lac. He worked at Morgan Door Company in Oshkosh until it closed and then retired from Dodge Correctional Institution in 2014. Robert enjoyed collecting coins and was an avid hunter and fisherman.



He is survived by his wife, Sharene; brother, Gary (Dawn) Kind; sister, Mary (Mark) Bender; half sister, Julie (Bryan) TeBeest; aunt, Jean Stauber; four brothers-in-law, Dale (Cheryl) Braatz, Mike Sperbeck, Rodney Braatz, and Bill Braatz; fishing buddies, Gary Kind, Carl Wolff, and Shaun Braatz; godchildren, Jerry Kind, Tammi Kind, Michael Kind, Ryan Braatz, Katie Kahlhamer, and Bill Kissinger; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Charlotte Braatz; brother, Jerry Kind; sister-in-law, Gena Sperbeck.



The visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:30 AM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Hastings officiating. Cremation has taken place.
