Robert H. Freund

Robert H. Freund, 76, formerly 55 4th Street and a resident of Wisconsin Veteran's Home, King, WI died Monday, January 23,2006 at Riverside Medical Center, Waupaca. Robert was born in Fond du Lac on March 17,1929 the son of William J. and Sylvia M. Arenz Freund. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army for 26 years serving as a mess sergeant. Later he worked as a chef at the Broadmoore Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO. He was an avid reader.SURVIVORS: three sisters, Leila (Al) Jene, Leesburg, FL, Geraldine (Robert) Anderson, Fond du Lac, and Jean (Robert) Halfman, Fond du Lac, and many nieces and nephews, and special friends Janet and David Kaiser. Robert was preceded in death by his parents.



Private family visitation and funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 25,2006 at Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. Reverend Joseph Coerber will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post No. 75 will conduct military services.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
