Robert J. Bloedorn

Robert J. Bloedorn, 76, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born in Fond du Lac on August 16, 1939, the son of the late Herbert and Florence (Voegali) Bloedorn. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School after which he served in the U.S. Army for four years. On May 15, 1965 he married Judy Graffen in Oshkosh, Wis. He was employed by International Paper as a die mounter for over 40 years.

Robert had a great sense of humor and enjoyed socializing, bowling, NASCAR, grilling out, the Chicago Bears, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his three sons: Jeff (Tammy) of Nolensville, Tenn. and their children, Bradley, Nathan, and Sydney; James (Stacey) of Fond du Lac and his children Jensen and Evan; John Bloedorn of Fond du Lac and his children Elizabeth, Lydia, and Kyle; and one sister, Linda Schmidt of Fond du Lac. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald.

Visitation for Robert will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bill Beaton officiating. Interment will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
