Robert J. "Bob" Kraus

ROBERT "BOB" J. KRAUSRobert "Bob" J. Kraus, age 58 of N6918 Giebel Road, Eldorado, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at his residence. He was born on September 4, 1949 in Fond du Lac the son of George J. and Estellia A. Kiersten Kraus. On October 7, 1972 he married Karen M. Kulaga at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. Bob was a graduate of Goodrich High School Class of 1967. He worked at Larson Company/Dean Foods for over 15 years, operated the Zephyr Gas Station on Military Road where in 1972 he won a free trip to Jamaica based on sales. Bob was currently operation manager for Steger Trucking, Fond du Lac. He was a Boy Scout and later a leader with Boy Scout Troop 734, Rosendale. Bob was a past member of the Rosendale Lions Club and with the Leo Club for the children of Lion members. In the 1960's and 70's he was active in Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car Racing Association. He was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. Bob enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.Survivors include his wife, Karen M. Kraus, Eldorado, one daughter M. Tammy (Larry) Pitts, Eldorado, one son Robert "Bud" J. Kraus,II, Eldorado, two grandchildren Nicholas and Grace Pitts. Further survived by four sisters, Sandy (Robert) Stenz, Eldorado, Patricia Baehler, Fond du Lac, Paula (Bruce) Kopischke, Fond du Lac, Susan (Carl) Toth, Fond du Lac and many nieces and nephews. Dear friends Jim (Carol) Klee, Cummings, Georgia and Dan (Lois) Denslow, Green Lake. Bob's parents preceded him in death.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Monday, July 21, 2008 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, 40 East Division Street, Fond du Lac. Reverend Shari Routh will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
