Robert J. Huskey

Robert J. Huskey, 58, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, May 20, 2016 in Rochester, MN. He was born December 29, 1957 in Fond du Lac, the son of James and Dorothy Schierland Huskey. Robert graduated from Goodrich High School in 1976. He received his associate degree in Industrial Electronics from Moraine Park Technical College in 1978. He married Gia C. Mathos on June 21, 1980 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Robert was employed as an electrician with Faith Technologies. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his grandchildren, who were the love of his life.



He is survived by his wife, Gia; four children, James (Katie) Huskey of Fond du Lac, Amy Cutsforth of Fond du Lac, Daniel (Alicia) Huskey of Manchester, GA, and Paul (Mehgan) Huskey of Appleton; five grandchildren, Jason and Ryan Huskey, Storm and Nissa Huskey, and Collin Cutsforth. He is further survived by his mother, Dorothy Huskey of Fond du Lac; his mother-in-law, Larrie Mathos; one brother, Daniel Huskey of Fond du Lac, two sisters, Kathi (Michael) Maccaux of Baraboo and Sharon (Reggie) Bortner of Fond du Lac; brother-in-law, Ari (Lori) Mathos of Beloit; sister-in-law, Annie (Pat) O’Meara of Campbellsport; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Huskey; father-in-law, Chris Mathos; brother-in-law, George Mathos.



The visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.



In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Mayo Clinic in Robert’s name.
