Robert J. Nelson

Robert J. Nelson, age 79, of Oshkosh, formerly of North Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, April 07, 2009 at Valhaven Care Center, Neenah. He was born on October 24, 1929 in North Fond du Lac, the son of Alex and Marie (Conery) Nelson. On July 10, 1979 he married Gail A. Burnett. He worked for Mercury Marine, and after retirement, he worked for Smith Security. He enjoyed watching football, NASCAR, fixing cars, and putting together model cars.SURVIVORS: two children, Robert A. Nelson of Neenah, Katherine (David) Resop of Neenah, two grandchildren, Justice and Ayiana Resop, one sister, Mary Schneiter of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Gail on June 7, 2003, two brothers, and three sisters.



VISITATION: Thursday, April 9, 2009 from 3-5 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 5:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating.
