Robert W. Kimmons

Robert W. Kimmons, age 78, of North Fond du Lac, died Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born on December 16, 1940, in Irma, WI, the son of James and Eda (Thoresdahl) Kimmons. On December 27, 1958, he married Janice M. Block in Merrill, WI. She preceded him in death on May 14, 2008. Robert worked for over twenty-five years at G & L. He enjoyed fishing and mowing his lawn and was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Most of all he was an all around loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.



Survivors include three daughters, Pam (Robin) Schwartz and their daughter Alyssa Schwartz, Anita Rutherford and her son Lee (Megan) Rutherford, Jackie (Bob) Nelson and her children, Johnathon, Nicole, and Matthew, deceased daughter Barb’s children Michael Kimmons and Bobby Duval; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley (Jim) Martin and Dolly (Sunny) Peterson; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janice; one daughter, Barbara; one son, Kim.



Visitation will take place on Friday, December 28, 2018, from 12-2 PM at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6250 County Road K, Fond du Lac, WI, 54937. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum.
