Robert W. Winston

Robert W. Winston, 74 of Campbellsport, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Froedert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Wauwatosa. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 28, 1940 the son of Jack and Betty Engelhardt Winston. He married Janice A. Harridge in October 1961 in Evanston, IL. Robert served in the United States Navy. He was a police officer for the City of Waukegan Police Department from 1972 to his retirement in 1994. For 20 years, Robert worked for the Bank of Waukegan as a security guard. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Officers. Robert was a fabricator and creator.



SURVIVORS: Robert is survived by his wife Janice Winston, Campbellsport, three children, Beth Sikorski, Antioch, IL, Lori Smith, Beach Park, IL, Jack (Kelly) Winston, Antioch, IL ,six grandchildren, James, Christopher, Natalie, Katie, David and Amanda, two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Claire. Robert is further survived by a brother Don (Marty) Winston, Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death his parents and two grandchildren.



Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
