Rochelle L. Parnitzke, 32, of 1005 Carriage Lane, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at her residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 4, 1975, the daughter of Paul R. and Cheryl A. (Walker) Bequette. On August 16, 2002, she married Troy Parnitzke in LaCrosse. She graduated from Holmen High School and the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. She was currently employed as a Kindergarten teacher at Lakeshore Elementary School. Rochelle was a veteran of the Wisconsin Army National Guard serving from 1993 to 2005. She was mobilized for Operation Iraqi Freedom. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church where she was involved in writing Sunday school curriculum, and giving children's messages. Rochelle was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, friend, soldier, and most of all, a servant of God. Surviving is her husband, Troy, a daughter, Rayanna, at home, her parents, Paul and Cheryl Bequette of Holmen, her sister, Renee M. (Ron) Lund, her brother, Ryan P. Bequette, her maternal grandmother, Lorraine Walker of LaCrosse, her mother and father-in-law, Lawrence J. and Bonnie L. Parnitzke of Sheboygan, two brothers-in-law, Terry (Ann) Parnitzke of Howards Grove, and Todd Parnitzke of Sheboygan, two nephews, and a niece. Her paternal grandparents, Paul F. and Myrle R. Bequette, and maternal grandfather, Roy L. Walker preceded her in death.
Visitation for Mrs. Rochelle L. Parnitzke will be from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, on Friday, June 15, 2007, and on Saturday, June 16, from 10:30 to 11:00 am at Ascension Lutheran Church, 901 County Trunk V, Fond du Lac. Memorial services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday at the church. The Rev. Jeff Blain will officiate and inurnment of cremated remains will be in St. Lukes Lutheran Cemetery, Sheboygan Falls, followed by military rites. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Rochelle's name.
