Rodney J. Witucke, age 79, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 02, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on May 14, 1936 in Fond du Lac, the son of Steven G. and Florence E. (Jenz) Witucke. Rodney served in the United States Army Reserve during the Korean War. On August 3, 1974 he married Karen Ann Paskey at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Rogersville.
Rodney worked at Mercury Marine in Plant 8 until retiring in 1999. He then went to work as a courier for Consultants Lab up until March of this year. He was a member of the Black Wolf Schuetzen Verein Club, the Fond du Lac Rifle and Pistol Club, Izaak Walton League, and the Van Dyne Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed traveling and photography. Rodney was a member of Holy Family Parish.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Karen of Fond du Lac; one son, Steven (Darci) Witucke of Spring Hill, TN; one granddaughter, Olivia, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Patricia Witucke.
VISITATION: Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. FUNERAL: Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church-Holy Family, 232 S. Peters Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Visitation will also take place on Thursday at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. Private family entombment will take place at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
