Rodney N. Kowalske, 86 of 502 West Scott Street, died Wednesday November 3, 2010 athis residence. He was born on May 30, 1924 the son of Paul H. and Marie L. Jasperson Kowalske. On September 22, 1979 he married Farrell M. Rahll at the Church of Peace. She preceded him in death on February 3, 2010. Rodney worked at Quic-Frez, Mid-State Aluminum, Rueping Leather, and Mercury Marine. He was a life-long member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie No 270. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading, watching sports on television, giving blood and family gatherings. When he married into a ready-made family of three children he loved his children and they the same of him.SURVIVORS: three children, Robert (Sharene) Kind, Fond du Lac, Mary (Mark) Bender, Eldorado, Gerhardt "Gary" (Dawn) Kind, Fond du Lac; five grandchildren, Bill (Jodi) Kissinger, Jerry Kind, Tammi Kind, Michael Kind, Callie Bender, three great-grandchildren, Brady and Carter Kissinger, Aubrey Bender. Further survived by two nephews; Paul and Mark Kowalske, three sister-in-laws; Leona Kowalske, Fond du Lac, Donna Kowalske, Kingman, AZ., Jean Stauber, Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, wife, two brothers, Wallace and David Kowalske.
VISITATION: Friend may call on Monday, November 8, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Reverend David Pavesic will officiate.
