Roger A. Habeck

Roger A. Habeck, 64, formerly of Neenah and currently a resident of ManorCare Health Services for the past six months, died Monday, October 03, 2011, under the care of Heartland Hospice. He was born June 8, 1947, in Marshfield, the son of Arthur F. and Adelaide "Kit" Warren Habeck. He was a 1965 graduate of Oshkosh West High School. For many years, he was a caretaker for several animal shelters in the Fox Valley area. Roger enjoyed cribbage, various forms of music, trains, and loved animals. He was a big baseball fan, and was excited that the Brewers were in the playoffs. Surviving is a sister, Lynne (Steve) Uecker of Fond du Lac, three nephews, Lee (Amber) Uecker, Stephen and Cameron Uecker, all of Fond du Lac, a niece, Lauren Uecker of Fond du Lac, and two great nieces, HannahLee Grace and Adalyn Faith Uecker. He is further survived by an aunt, Aggie Habeck of Oshkosh, cousins, and other relatives and friends. His parents, maternal grandparents, Herbert and Mae Warren, paternal grandparents, Carl and Mary Habeck, three aunts, Dorothy "Dot" Clee, Helen Maxam, and Mildred Abegglen, and four uncles, Andrew "Bert" Clee, Vern Habeck, Percy Maxam, and Donald Abegglen, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Roger A. Habeck will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, from 5 t0 7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Graveside services at LakeView Memorial Park, Oshkosh, will be held at a later date.
