Roger L. Oosterhouse

Roger L. Oosterhouse, 55, of Saxeville, Wis., died Saturday, October 28, 2017. He was born in Grand Rapids, Mich. on December 12, 1961 to Harry and Shirley (Snoeyink) Oosterhouse. On September 22, 2017, he married Lynn Shafer in Saxeville which brought him much happiness.



Roger loved his time as a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Waupun Fire Department, retiring after 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and cheering on the Badgers and Packers with family and friends. Roger loved life and always had a positive outlook. He was always willing to help out family and friends with a smile on his face. Roger began his career in electrical maintenance at Quad Graphics in Lomira and was most recently employed with Konz Wood Products in Appleton.



Survivors include his wife, Lynn; 2 children, Rebecca (Adam) Parks of Green Bay and Nathan of Waupun; 2 step-daughters, Kristi and Kari Shafer, both of Fond du Lac; 5 siblings, Harvey (Sherry) of Waupun, Jan (Wayne) Kok of Randolph, Steve (Ev) of Randolph, Bob (Nancy) of Waupun and Sherry (Jay) Vree of Randolph; father-in-law, Darvin Kedinger of Dent, Minn.; mother-in-law, Judith (Ray) Ballwanz of Oshkosh; brother-in-law, Dan Kedinger and his daughter, Kourtni, both of Fond du Lac; the mother of his children, Toni Oosterhouse of Waupun; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.



Visitation for Roger will be held from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM. Cremation will follow the services with burial to take place in Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
