Roland B. Trepanier, Sr., 64 of W7468 Townline Circle, Van Dyne, WI died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born the son of Basil and Joyce Rice Trepanier on September 15, 1944 in Fond du Lac. On December 1, 1979 he married Edith L. Steffes in Fond du Lac. Roland served in the U.S. Armed Forces from 1961-1971 during Vietnam followed by his service in the National Guards. He was a business agent for Local 73A United Food and Commercial Workers Union, and a member of the Coon Hunters Club, Presentation Parish Men's Club, Whitetails Unlimited and the North Fond du Lac Youth Baseball Association. Roland enjoyed gardening, woodworking, cooking and hunting. SURVIVORS: his wife, Edith; five children, Angela Trepanier, North Fond du Lac, Roland (fiancée, Tamara) Trepanier, Jr., North Fond du Lac, Daniel Trepanier, Salt Lake City, UT, Paul Trepanier and Chris Trepanier both of MO; five grandchildren, Victoria, Noah, Aliya, Kiara and Kiley; three brothers, Wayne (Irene) Trepanier, Sr., Fond du Lac, Royal (Frances) Trepanier, Columbus, MS, Basil Trepanier, Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Marney Krueger; one brother, William Trepanier.
VISITATION: will be from 10 AM "“ 2 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Sippel officiating. Cremation has taken place.In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Roland's name.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
