Rolland E. Wolf

Rolland E. "Rollie" Wolf Jr, age 90, of 473 Stow St, Fond du Lac, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born on October 10, 1922 in Fond du Lac, the son of Rolland and Helen (Kubley) Wolf. Rollie served his country during World War II and was Honorably Discharged from the United States Army on November 26, 1946. On May 20, 1950 he married Beverly Becker at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on April 21, 1995.Mr. Wolf was a graduate of Fond du Lac High School. He was employed at Mercury Marine for forty-two years retiring in 1989. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling with his sons and brother. He also loved to travel with his wife as well as his brother. SURVIVORS: his brother Edgar Wolf of Fond du Lac; three sons, Dale of Fond du Lac, David and his wife Kathryn of Fond du Lac, Daniel and his wife Patricia of Waupun; two grandson, Kevin and Thomas Wolf, and one granddaughter, Jamie Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Beverly.



VISITATION: Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Estabrooks Cemetery. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 Firing Squad will conduct military graveside honors. We would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Home of Hope for taking such good care of Rollie and provided emotional support as well as spiritual support to him and his family.
