Rolland R. Radtke, 82, of Marr Street, Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. He was born the son of Rudolph and Grace Arnold Radtke on March 3, 1925 in Fond du Lac. On August 9, 1958 he married Ruth A. Hanley at St. Matthew's Methodist Church, Fond du Lac. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII. Rolland worked as a carman for the Soo Line Railroad for 37 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. After retirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife, Ruth, visiting all 50 states and Canada. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, country music, watching television, was an avid reader and loved spending time with his grandchildren. SURVIVORS: wife, Ruth; three daughters, Rosanne, Mt. Calvary, Rhonda, Milwaukee, Becky, Prentice; one step son, Dennis (Candace) Cox, Wild Rose; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, "Toby", Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, one step-son, Frank, one brother and three sisters.
VISITATION: will be from 10 AM "“ 12:30 PM on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev.
