Roman E. Kreuziger, age 78 of 670 East Merrill Avenue, died December 16, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Watertown on June 16, 1930 the son of John and Genevieve Powers Kreuziger. On June 30, 1951 he married Marian F. Thoma at St. Henry's Catholic Church, Watertown. He was employed at Alloy Products, Waukesha as a welder for 40 years retiring in 1995. He was a member of Holy Family-St. Mary's Parish. Roman enjoyed family, woodworking, and fishing.SURVIVORS: Survivors include his wife Marian Kreuziger, Fond du Lac, five sons, Gary (Betty) Kreuziger, Waukesha, Randy Kreuziger, Waukesha, Jeffrey (Julie)Kreuziger, Waukesha, Rick (Jess) Kreuziger, Sparta, Alan Kreuziger, Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren, Justin (Melissa) Kreuziger, Carly (Jerry) Konecny, Carissa, Lori (Jeff) Scrima, Amy Kreuziger, Samantha Kreuziger, and Nick Kreuziger, three great grandchildren, Kendyl, Kiersten and Taylor. Roman is further survived by two brothers, Charles (Beverly) Kreuziger, Fond du Lac, Robert (Kris) Kreuziger, Milwaukee, and two sisters, Helen Schartner, Brookfield, Judy (Ray) Zastrow, Pine River. His parents, one brother, LeRoy, and an infant sister Betty preceded Roman in death.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 20, 2008 from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Holy Family-St. Peter's Parish, St. Peter. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated December 20, 2008 at 12:30 P.M. at the church. Cremation has taken place.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
