Ronald E. Geiger, 95, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at St. Francis Terrace. He was born June 23, 1917 in the Town of Byron, the son of Charles and Ella Tratow Geiger. On July 24, 1948 he married Thelma C. Menge at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fond du Lac, and she preceded him in death on September 24, 2008. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force from 1941- 1945, serving 34 months overseas in the South Pacific. He was a member of Holy Family Parish. In his retirement he enjoyed refinishing furniture. Dad was a quiet man who may not have often actually spoke words of love, but instead constantly showed his love to God, family and friends. He was always there to help others with his assistance, advice and expertise. He gave such wonderful and loving care to our Mom during the last years of her life that were besieged with illness.
