Ronald H. Cook, Sr., 74, of N8464 Minawa Beach Road, Town of Taycheedah, died Friday, June 22, 2007, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born October 21, 1932, in Milwaukee, the son of Harold and Catherine Stock Cook. On April 18, 1953, he married Martha Caskey in Aurora, IL. She preceded him in death on December 9, 1985. He later married Phyllis Dian Quinn on May 7, 1998, in Las Vegas. Ron was a member of Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. He formerly owned and operated Cook's Standard Service for 36 years, and later was employed at Quad Graphics in the maintenance department. Mr. Cook was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1953 to 1956. His memberships included member and Past Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodge #57, the Fond du Lac Yacht Club, and the Fond du Lac Boat Club. As an artist, he enjoyed carving ducks, and painting.Surviving is his wife, Phyllis, a son, Ronald (Julie) Cook, Jr. of Fond du Lac, a step-son, Allen (Cathy) Quinn, of Fond du Lac, two step-daughters, Debra Quinn of Green Bay, and Stephanie (Rick) Roth of Malone, three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Further surviving are two brothers, Fred (Grace) Cook of Young America, MN, and Harry (Mary) Cook of Wisconsin Dells, two sisters, Carol (Dick) Brown of Janesville, and Barbara (Dick) Mecklenberg of Friendship, WI, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. His parents and first wife preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Ronald H. Cook, Sr. will be on Monday, June 25, 2007, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Tuesday, June 26, 2007, from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at the church. The Rev. Douglas Hedman will officiate and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
