Ronald J. Richardson, 61, of Fond du Lac, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born March 31, 1947 in Fond du Lac, the son of James J. and Stella E. Krenn Richardson. Ronald was a veteran of the US Army. On November 24, 1973 he married Carol L. Thiel in Lomira, WI. Ronald worked for Leach Company, Oshkosh until his retirement in 2004. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Fond du Lac. Ronald enjoyed fishing, boating, oil painting, was an avid bird watcher and took great joy in restoring his antique Plymouth Coupe.SURVIVORS: his wife, Carol; one son, Russell (Lisa) Richardson, Fond du Lac; two step children, Rick Stibbe, Richland Center and Terri Tagliapietra, Fond du Lac; three grandchildren, Megan and Julia Tagliapietra, Paige Richardson; his mother, Stella Richardson Cross, Fond du Lac; two brothers, Bill Richardson, North Fond du Lac, his twin brother, Don Richardson, Neshkoro; two sisters, Sally (Lee) Anderson, Fond du Lac, Joy (Karl) Uhlig, Fond du Lac. He is further survived by one brother-in-law, James (Sharon) Thiel, Minneapolis, MN; two sisters-in-law, Jane (Harvey) Kramer, Kenosha, Beverly (Dean) Muehlius, Legend Lake; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, James.
VISITATION: will be from 9 "“ 11 AM on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Salem United Methodist Church, 120 Sheboygan Street, Fond du Lac, WI. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Stubbs and Rev. Anthony Farina officiating. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.Memorials are appreciated to St. Agnes Hospice Home of Hope or Salem United Methodist Church.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
