Ronald J "˜Ron' "Fuzzy" White passed away at home surrounded by his family on March 08, 2009, at the age of 75. Ronald was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 1, 1934, to Eugene White, Sr. and Sadie Curry White.Ron served in the US Marine Corps from 1952 to 1955, and served in the Korean War from 1952 to 1953. He was honorably discharged in 1955. Ron married Loretta J. Pickart on January 28, 1978 at the Church of Peace in Fond du Lac, WI. Ron was an over the road truck driver for many years, retiring in 1996.Ronald's greatest passion was his Drum & Bugle Corps, the Twilight Knights of Fond du Lac, WI. Ron served as Executive Director from the Corps' inception in 1998 through his death. He was also a member of the North Fond du Lac Chapter of the Knights of Columbus, Council 9685.Ron is survived by his wife Loretta; his mother-in-law Elsie Berlowski Pickart; his five daughters, Cheri White, Dawn Salomaki and her husband Michael, Ronda Flores and her husband Cameron, Robin Rodriguez and her husband Rick, and Renee White and her fiancé Mike Essers; his two sons, Lance White and Russell White; his ten grandchildren, Joshua and Jeramiah Yanke and his fiancé Jen Teskey, Nathaniel Moore, Amanda and Eric Manchester, Austin Salomaki, Seth, Jesse, and Riley White, and Bryton and Kaleigh Rodriguez; his great-granddaughter Adrianna Moore; his sister Laverne Bauch and her husband Edward, and numerous brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Ronald was also looking forward to the birth of his eleventh grandchild expected in June to his daughter Ronda and her husband Cameron. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Eugene Sr. and Sadie White, his brother Eugene White Jr., his father-in-law Clifford Pickart, and his sister-in-law Marie Pickart.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at St. Charles Cemetery in Taycheedah, WI, on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. Memorial services will happen at the time of burial. Please contact the family for more information on dates and times.The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Agnesian Adult Day Care Center for the excellent care they provided to Ronald.
