Rose K. Wild

Rose K. Wild, 99, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Grancare Nursing Center in Fond du Lac. She was born on February 23, 1918 in Halliday, ND to Frank and Blanch (Thomas) Baer. On July 31, 1942, she married Elmer Wild in Oswego, KS. He preceded her in death on August 21, 1985.



Rose traveled many years with her husband and worked as a nurse’s aide before retiring in 1973. She was a member of Holy Family - St. Mary’s church in Fond du Lac.



Survivors include her sister, Emma Forster of Spokane, WA; 3 grandsons, Forrest, Jr. “Pat” (Bonnie) of California, Brian (Heidi) of Brownsville, TX and Gary of Beaver Dam; and a niece, Shirley (Herb) Marousek of Rosendale. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 3 brothers; and her stepson, Forrest.



Private family services will be held Monday, November 27, 2017 with burial to follow in Rosendale Cemetery.
