Rose M. "Nana" Davis

Rose M. "NaNa" Davis, 60 of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born January 14, 1951 in North Fond du Lac the daughter of Edwin and Marian Potter Miller. On July 23, 1971 she married Michael W. Davis in Fond du Lac. Rose attended Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac. She worked at Grancare Nursing Home and Holiday Inn. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Brothertown Nation.SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband, Michael Davis, Fond du Lac, one daughter Julie (Nick) Forster, Fond du Lac, and one son Daniel M. Davis, Fond du Lac, five grandchildren, Hannah (Joseph) Tynan, Silas J. Davis, Jake Albertz, twins Honor and Gage Kester, one step-grandson Peyton Forster, two great-grandsons Michael and Gabriel Tynan. Rose is further survived by four sisters, Irene Shady, Fond du Lac, Mabel (Robert) Pownell, Waupun,Betty(Dave) Lemke, Fond du Lac, Darlene Drew, Fond du Lac, five brothers, Edwin (Lynn) Miller, Fond du Lac, Robert Miller, CO, Eugene (Patti) Miller, NV, John Miller, Fond du Lac, and Frank Miller, Fond du Lac. She is further survived by a special niece Dawn Kraintz. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ervin and Marvin Miller and two sisters, Helen Peterson and Margaret McClullough.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 4 to 8 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Friday, October 7, 2011 at 8:00 PM atthe Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
