Rose M. PalkovichRose M. Palkovich, 89, formerly of 207 Auburn St. in Fond du Lac and currently a resident of All About Life Rehabilitation Center died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the home. Rose was born August 25, 1915 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Julius and Veronica Zwick Prein. On November 30, 1935 she married Stephen Palkovich at St. Mary's Parsonage in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death in August of 1965.Rose worked for Well's Manufacturing as a laborer and shop clerk until her retirement in 1977. She was a life long member of Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed watching the Packers, watching baseball games, watching soap operas, and gardening. Rose is survived by many nieces and nephews including Richard (Sue) Freund of Fond du Lac, Robert Freund of Fond du Lac, Charles (Karen) Palkovich of Fond du Lac, Norbert (Lonna) Prein Stoughton, Darlene (Les) Wagner of Machesney Park, IL, Mark Prein of AZ, Carl Prein of AZ, and Carol Prein of CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, one sister, and two nephews.



Visitation for Mrs. Palkovich will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2005 from 12 Noon until the time of services at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the church with the Rev. Victor Capriolo officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
