Rosella C. Miller

Rosella "Sally" C. Miller, 96, of Fond du Lac, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born February 18, 1913 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Peter and Catherine Kolling Buechel. On June 6, 1933 she married Lloyd J. Miller in Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death on December 19, 1987. Sally was a member of Holy Family Church, Fond du Lac and a past member of St. Patrick's Altar and Rosary Society. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Dancing was her passion, which she was able to enjoy until 2004.SURVIVORS: five children, Connie (Tony) Mayer, Tucson, AZ, Roger (Barbara) Miller, Showlow, AZ, Mary Lou Olig, Fond du Lac, Pat Abitz, Fond du Lac, Gail (Rod) Kriewaldt, Fond du Lac; 15 grandchildren, Mike (Vicki) Mayer, Larry (Mary Ann) Mayer, Joe (Annette) Mayer, Laura Mayer, Julie De Freitas, Craig (Renee) Miller, Rick Olig, Deb (Wayne) Boettcher, Tim (Barbara) Olig, Doug (Lisa) Olig, Todd (Chris) Olig, Alvin (Carolyn) Abitz, Jr., Brian (Jackie) Abitz, Jaime Abitz, Sherry (Jim) Lagios; 33 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; nieces, nephews, other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd; two daughters, Dianne Miller, Myrna Miller; five brothers; three sisters; and her long time friend and dancing partner, Ed Corth.



VISITATION: will be from 3:30 "“ 6 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Liturgy of the Word Service will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services and inurnment will be held in Calvary Cemetery.The family would like to thank the staff at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the loving care given to mom.
