Rosemary A. Ziegler

Rosemary A. ZieglerRosemary A. Ziegler, 80, of 653 W. Arndt Street, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at her residence. She was born August 12, 1925, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Sidney and Bessie Fowler Welch. On November 17, 1951, she married Walter M. Ziegler in Ashton, WI. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1989. Rosemary was a member of the Brothertown Indian Nation. She was previously employed at Wells Manufacturing, Infant Socks, and after 15 years, retired from Model Cleaners in 1987. Rose enjoyed playing cards, bowling, the Packers, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters, Beverly (Roger) Sabel and Barbara (Daniel) Roloff, both of Fond du Lac, four grandchildren, Dean (Kelli) Sabel of Milwaukee, Aaron (Carrie) Sabel of Neenah, Michael Roloff of Santa Monica, CA, and Kathryn Roloff (special friend, Dan Winkler) of Oshkosh, three great-grandchildren, Hannah and Ellie Sabel, and Jack Sabel, a step great-granddaughter, Peyton. A sister-in-law, Jean Welch, of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, including special niece, Mary Huberty, of Fond du Lac, and other relatives and friends, further survive her. Her parents, husband, five brothers, Corliss, Clyde, Carlyn "Doug", Roger, and Donald Welch, four sisters, Wilma Burgess, Jean Melius, Dorothy Schroeder, and Ruth Bunker, and special friend, Lester Shirey, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Rosemary A. Ziegler will be on Friday, July 28, 2006, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the funeral home. The Rev. Shari Routh will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
